This is just a quick PSA to explain the difference between an acronym and an initialism. In a nutshell, an acronym is pronounced as a word, for example OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) or NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), while in an initialism, each letter is pronounced, e.g. NSA (National Security Agency) or USB (Universal Serial Port). I just thought that was interesting and I wanted to share.
Portal 2 will be released next week. There is an online comic on the Portal 2 website titled Lab Rat. GLaDOS is funny as always and has some great lines. You can read or download the comic here: http://www.thinkwithportals.com/comic/
If you like Star Trek or Dire Straits or acid electronic music(not sure on the correct genre), then check out this video.
Since I'm on the subject, I might as well post another Star Trek related video. This one is hilarious.
In unrelated news, I am a very happy camper today since I just bought 60, that's right, 60 beers(beer?) today so I am set for the next few days. I hope everybody reading this post has a fantastic weekend because I know I sure will.
